Saturn 19-09-2025
Saturno del 19 settembre ripreso in buone condizioni di seeing. Questa ripresa, che per il momento è la mia migliore di questa opposizione, è un R+IR + RGB ottenuta mediante la fusione dei canali R+IR e RGB ripresi la stessa sera. Derotazione del canale R+IR circa 40 minuti. Non sono evidenti sul pianeta cicloni, si nota però la presenza di Titano e il decagono al polo meridionale del pianeta. Degno di nota l’effetto Seelinger ovvero l’improvviso aumento di luminosità degli anelli in corrispondenza dell’opposizione.
Saturn on September 19th, taken under good seeing conditions. This image, which is my best so far of this opposition, is an R-IR + RGB obtained by merging the R+IR and RGB channels taken that same evening. Derotation of the R-IR channel takes about 40 minutes. Cyclones are not evident on the planet, but the presence of Titan and the decagon at the planet's southern pole are visible.
