Solar total eclipse Spain 2026

Con queste ultime foto chiudo ufficialmente i miei 3 giorni di full immersion di postproduzione, ho finito tutti i RAW a disposizione!

Un paio di riflessioni al volo… Fotografare un’eclissi totale si è rivelato un casino, quando arriva il momento della totalità, lo spettacolo è così assurdo che rimani del tutto ipnotizzato e tutti i piani studiati a tavolino si perdono in quello spettacolo.

Ancora adesso, a mente fredda, mi chiedo se abbia davvero avuto senso staccare gli occhi anche solo per un secondo per impostare la fotocamera.

Alla fine, al di là delle foto (che ammetto essere venute peggio di come speravo), il vero obiettivo era vivere l’esperienza di un eclissi totale (che ammetto essere stata migliore di come la immaginavo).

With these final photos, I’m officially wrapping up my three-day post-processing marathon—I’ve finished working through all the RAW files!

A few quick reflections… Photographing a total eclipse was incredibly challenging; when totality hits, the spectacle is so surreal that you become completely mesmerized, and all your plans get lost in the moment.

Even now, looking back calmly, I wonder if it really made sense to tear my eyes away—even for just a second—to adjust the camera settings.

Ultimately, beyond the photos, the goal was to experience a total eclipse firsthand (and I have to admit, it was even better than I had imagined).
